My Work

• I am working in the Detector Laboratory of the Particle Physics Group of the Wuppertal University.

My Work

• Main topic is to research particle detectors to be used for high energy physics experiments at CERN.
• Our main experiment is the ATLAS Pixel Detector.
• My responsibility is the subgroup dealing with (opto-)electronics and detector readout.

About me

Current responsibilities:

• ATLAS Pixel Optolinks (since 2007)
• IBL Off-Detector Coordinator (since 2009)
• ATLAS Optolink Upgrade Coordinator (since 10/2010, as Deputy between 10/2009-10/2010)

Time outside Germany

• Long term stay at CERN (mid of 2008 - early 2010)
• within this DCS Deputy (12/2008 - 2/2010)

Employment

• Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in the particle physics group of the University of Wuppertal (since 10/2006)
